On 14 September 2025, youth members of SGI-Philippines held their second annual Peace Fair in four cities—Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao—bringing together some 600 participants for dialogue and learning.

At the SGI-Philippines Manila International Peace Center, Loreta Navarro-Castro, Founding Director of Center for Peace Education Miriam College and country representative of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), delivered a lecture titled “The Reality of Nuclear Weapons Today: Why Should We Care?”

The exhibition “Everything You Treasure—For a World Free From Nuclear Weapons,” jointly created by SGI and the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), was also shown at the venue, offering participants an opportunity to engage with issues related to nuclear disarmament and peace.

The Davao Culture Center welcomed Vince Molejon, Secretary General of the Mindanao Peace Council, while the Cagayan de Oro Culture Center featured Dr. Primitivo Ragandang III, Associate Professor of Political Science at Mindanao State University. Both speakers delivered inspiring messages on unity, cooperation, and peace.
