From 31 January to 7 February, Be the Hope Foundation, an affiliate of the Italian Buddhist Institute Soka Gakkai, hosted the exhibition “Heritage of Life” at the Betza Barracks in Gavoi, Sardinia. The opening ceremony of the exhibition, which focuses on climate action, sustainability and the SDGs, was held on 31 January, attended by Gavoi Mayor Salvatore Lai and Deputy Mayor Rosangela Sedda. It featured musical performances by the local women’s choir Eufonia. 

During the week, the exhibition attracted 542 visitors, including 165 students. Side events focused on strengthening community engagement through lectures by environmental organizations, a plastic-free initiative and the delivery to schools of small plants donated by the local authorities.
