I Want To Live On: The Untold Stories of the Polygon

Created by the Center for International Security and Policy (CISP) with the support of Soka Gakkai International (SGI), “I Want To Live On: The Untold Stories of the Polygon” sheds light on the Semipalatinsk Test Site, also known as the “Polygon,” which served as the Soviet Union's primary nuclear test site until 1991.

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, an extended approximately 40-minute version was released in 2026. Twice the length of the original version released in 2023, the film features testimonies from ten survivors, including two newly added witnesses.

Through the powerful testimonial evidence shared, this film highlights the lasting damage and suffering caused by nuclear testing, affecting individuals across three generations to this day.
