On 26 October, Soka Gakkai of Paraguay held a peace festival at its culture center in Asunción.
The festival, featuring diverse dances and a Japanese taiko drum performance, was declared of cultural interest by the National Secretariat of Culture and the Chamber of Deputies. The event highlighted how cultural performances, as shared expressions of creativity and tradition, can nurture community bonds and help open pathways toward peace.
Guests included Rector Sanie Romero de Velázquez of the Ibero-American University of Paraguay and Dr. Stella Maris Morena de Solis, former Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the National University of Asunción.
