From 25-27 November 2025, Be the Hope Foundation, an affiliate of the Italian Buddhist Institute Soka Gakkai, held the exhibition “Senzatomica: Transforming the Human Spirit for a World Free from Nuclear Weapons” at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. On 25 November, an opening ceremony was attended by President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola and Vice-President Pina Picierno. President Metsola emphasized the vital role of young people in building peace, while Vice-President Picierno referred to the importance of a policy of “no-first-use” of nuclear weapons. From 10-28 November 2025, SGI-Sweden organized the “Act for Tomorrow” exhibition at Stockholm University Library, together with the Swedish Pugwash Group, Swedish Physicians against Nuclear Weapons and the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The exhibition was created to raise awareness about the reality of nuclear weapons, share insights on humanitarian and environmental risks and highlight the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).
